Why I built CARE
For 25 years I designed the bonus and incentive plans other people’s futures depended on — while my own rode on a single paycheck. That realization is what sent me looking for a smarter path.
I’ve been a passive investor since 2018. I’ve vetted sponsors, wired capital, read the K-1s, and learned plenty of lessons the expensive way.
Later, I helped build one of the nation’s largest passive-investor communities, where I watched thousands of people navigate their very first investment — and hit the same wall you’re hitting now: not knowing where to start.
So I built CARE: the education and the community I wish I’d had when I was starting out. I’m an educator and fellow investor, never a financial advisor. I won’t tell you what to do with your money — I’ll show you one honest way to think about it, and I’ll be right there in the community with you.
